NSWRL 1961

The NSWRL 1961 was the 54th season of the New South Wales Rugby League Premiership , the first Australian rugby league championship. The first place in the table after the end of the regular season occupied the Western Suburbs Magpies . They lost in the final 0:22 against the St. George Dragons , who won the NSWRL for the sixth time in a row and for the eighth time overall.
