NSWRL 1979

The NSWRL 1979 was the 72nd season of the New South Wales Rugby League Premiership , the first Australian rugby league championship. The first place in the table after the end of the regular season occupied the St. George Dragons . They won in the final 17:13 against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and won the NSWRL for the 15th time.
