NSWRL 1951

The 1951 NSWRL was the 44th season of the New South Wales Rugby League Premiership , the first Australian rugby league championship. The first place in the table after the end of the regular season occupied the South Sydney Rabbitohs . They won in the final 42:14 against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles and won the NSWRL for the 13th time.

    Playoffs

    Manly-Warringah would actually have won the NSWRL after beating St. George. Since South Sydney had the so-called "Right of Challenge" as the winner of the Minor Premiership, the Grand Final between Manly-Warringah and South Sydney took place a week later.
