NSWRL 1938
The NSWRL 1938 was the 31st season of the New South Wales Rugby League Premiership , the first Australian rugby league championship. The first place in the table after the end of the regular season occupied the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs , who won the final 19: 6 against the Eastern Suburbs and thus won the NSWRL for the first time.
After the end of the 1937 season, the team of the University of Sydney was eliminated from the competition, which in 1938 the number of teams was reduced to eight again.
