Münden Nature Park
The Münden Nature Park is located in the district of Göttingen , southern Lower Saxony ( Germany ).
Geographical location
The almost 374 km² large and wooded nature park, which was founded in 1959 by the now dissolved district of Münden , does not extend entirely from the eastern city limits of Kassel and thus the border with Hesse in a northerly direction through the northern part of the Kaufunger Forest via Hann. Münden up to the Bramwald and Dransfelder Stadtwald . It lies to the south, east and northeast of the confluence of the Fulda and Werra to the Weser and meets the geo-nature park Frau-Holle-Land (Werra Valley, Meissner, Kaufunger Wald) in the south and south-east . It is crossed by the A 7 . The Staufenberg glider airfield is located on the Großer Staufenberg .
