Oľšavica (until 1927 in Slovak "Olšavica"; German Olschau , also Olschawitz , Hungarian Nagyolsva - until 1902 Olsavica ) is a municipality in eastern Slovakia east of Levoča .
It was mentioned in writing for the first time in 1300 and consists of the main town Oľšavica ( Olschau ) and the town Podproč ( Latzenbach or Podprotsch ), which was incorporated in 1913 .
