Papikatsuk [ papiˈkat͡suk ] (according to the old spelling Papikatsuk ) is a desolate Greenlandic settlement in the Nanortalik district in the municipality of Kujalleq .
location
Papikatsuk is as Itilliatsiaq on a small flat peninsula between the Tasermiut Kangerluat and the bay Ilunngua . Eleven kilometers to the northwest is Nanortalik, the next inhabited place.
history
Papikatsuk was an entertaining place to live that was settled in 1941. Then around 25 people lived in the village, with a record 40 before it was given up again in 1952. Sheep were kept in Papikatsuk.
