Nigertuut [ niˌɣɜˈtːuːtˢʰ ] (according to the old spelling Nigertût ) is a deserted Greenlandic settlement in the Nanortalik district in the municipality of Kujalleq .
location
Nigertuut lies deep inside the fjord complex on the southern tip of Greenland. Aappilattoq is the next inhabited place seven kilometers to the south .
history
Nigertuut was not settled until the 1920s. It is known that 1930 people lived there. As early as 1939 Nigertuut was given up again.
