Paul P. Yoder

Paul Price Yoder (born June 25, 1897 in West Liberty , Ohio , †  September 1, 1965 in Fayetteville , North Carolina ) was an American politician . Between 1937 and 1939 he was lieutenant governor of the state of Ohio.

Career

The sources on Paul Yoder are very poor. Nothing is known about his life beyond politics. He was a member of the Democratic Party and sat in the Ohio Senate at an unknown date .

In 1936 he was elected Lieutenant Governor of Ohio alongside Martin Davey . He held this office between 1937 and 1939. He was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate . After the end of his time as Lieutenant Governor, his track is lost again. It is only noted in the sources that he died of cancer on September 1, 1965 in Fayetteville. Yoder had been married to Martha Celestine (Caroline) Byers since 1919.
