WA Greenlund

William A. Greenlund (born February 20, 1873 in Titusville , Pennsylvania , †  August 23, 1935 ) was an American politician . Between 1913 and 1915 he was lieutenant governor of the state of Ohio .

Career

WA Greenlund attended his home public schools and high school in Pittsburgh . From 1891 he lived in Cleveland , where he worked in the real estate industry. Politically, he joined the Democratic Party . As their candidate, he entered the Ohio Senate . In 1916 he was a substitute delegate to the Democratic National Convention , on which President Woodrow Wilson was nominated for re-election.

In 1912, Greenlund was elected Lieutenant Governor of Ohio alongside James M. Cox . He held this office between 1913 and 1915. He was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate. After his time as Lieutenant Governor, he was no longer politically active. He died on August 23, 1935.
