Johann Pesser , actually Hans Pesser, (born November 7, 1911 in Vienna ; † August 12, 1986 there ) was an Austrian football player and coach .

Pesser belonged from 1930 to 1942 the SK Rapid Wien on, for he held until the end of season 1936/37 in I. league , the season 1937/38 in the National League from 1938 to 1941 in the Gauliga Ostmark , in one of 17, later to 23 increased Gauligen at the time of National Socialism as the unified highest division in the German Reich , and his last season in the Danube-Alpenland sports class . He played his last game for the national team on October 5, 1937 in Vienna in a 2-1 victory over the national team of Latvia .

He crowned his debut for the “Greater German Team” on May 14, 1938 in Berlin in the 3: 6 defeat against the national team of England , immediately with his first goal, the 3: 5 goal in the 77th minute. From 1953 to 1960 he led the Vienna Sport Club to two championships, then - until 1966 - the SK Admira Vienna to one championship and two national cup wins.

National team

As an assistant coach , he looked after the Austrian national team in the 1946/47 season (under Eduard Bauer ), 1953/54 (under Walter Nausch ) and 1957/58 (under Josef Argauer ). During the 1954 World Cup , which the team finished in third place, he and Eduard Frühwirth were one of two assistant coaches under Walter Nausch. With Erwin Alge he formed a coaching team from May 27, 1967 to May 19, 1968 , which won three of nine games and lost four.
