The Porsche Cayenne Coupé is a sport utility vehicle from the Porsche brand that is based on the third generation of the Cayenne . The vehicle was presented in March 2019.

technology

The Cayenne Coupé is based on the modular longitudinal construction kit , a platform that VW also uses in the Audi Q8 , the Bentley Bentayga or the VW Touareg III .

The vehicle has a significantly more pronounced roof line than the Cayenne. The roof is fitted with a 2.16 m² glass insert as standard, but it is also available with a 22 kg lighter insert made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic . Due to the stall on the retractable rear spoiler , the rear window should hardly get wet in the rain, which is why a rear window wiper is not available. In addition, the Cayenne Coupé has another third brake light and a license plate located at the bottom of the rear bumper . Because of the lower roof, the seats in the rear are three centimeters lower than in the Cayenne. In addition, the trunk is almost 150 liters smaller.

Technical specifications

At the start of sales in May 2019, the vehicle was available as a Cayenne Coupé , Cayenne Coupé S and Cayenne Coupé Turbo with the same engine variants as in the Cayenne. The hybrid versions Cayenne Coupé E-Hybrid and Cayenne Coupé Turbo S E-Hybrid followed in August 2019 . The manufacturer presented the Cayenne Coupé GTS in June 2020.
