Porsche-Diesel Standard AP

The Porsche Standard AP was a tractor from Porsche-Diesel Motorenbau GmbH , which was based in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance and which took over tractor production from the Allgaier works from 1958 to 1960. The Porsche Diesel Standard AP was the successor to the Porsche AP18 and Porsche AP22 models .

The Porsche Standard AP had an air-cooled 4-stroke - two-cylinder - inline engine , which, however, was redesigned in contrast to previous models. The new equipment also included an oil-hydraulic clutch . The top speed of the Standard AP was 2.4 km / h in reverse and 19.1 km / h in forward gear. Special equipment with 6- or 7- speed gears has been developed especially for the Porsche Standard AP . However , there were no developments in the field of gearboxes or tanks . Only a turbo coupling was installed in the standard AP. The disadvantage of the standard AP was the high oil consumption, which was up to 5 liters per nominal speed above that of the competition.

The simple but functional basic equipment could be expanded with additional special equipment for a surcharge. This consisted of a Fritzmeier top, a power lift , rear lights and a mower . A front fender plus a fender seat and a sprung front axle were also available.
