Porsche diesel P133

The Porsche P 133 is a tractor from Porsche-Diesel Motorenbau GmbH , which was based in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance and took over tractor production from Allgaier Werke from 1956 to 1957, with around 2,000 copies of the tractor model being produced. The Porsche P 133 was the predecessor model of the Porsche Super 308.

Even before the takeover of Allgaier, Porsche was active as an engine developer and developed a modular system for all engines . Each cylinder had a stroke of 116 mm, a displacement of approx. 822 cm³ and a bore of 95 mm. At 2000 revolutions per minute , 8 kW (11 hp) were available per cylinder. The modular system made it possible to ensure that pistons , connecting rods and rings were kept the same and that spare parts were always available. The Porsche P 133 had a standing air-cooled 3-cylinder - Diesel engine with injection through a swirl chamber , which was designed keilriemenlos. The built-in injection system came from Bosch and the control of the Porsche tractor was regulated by a gear-driven camshaft located below . The Porsche P 133 had a displacement of 2467 cm³, giving the engine an output of 24 kW (33 hp) and a torque of 119 Nm. The sucked in air was cleaned by the oil bath air filter installed as standard . In addition, a hydraulic Voith fluid coupling or a single-disc dry coupling from Fichtel & Sachs was installed in the Porsche tractor . The ZF or Getrag gear change transmission with manual shifting offered a total of five forward gears and one reverse gear. A crawler gear could also be installed in the Porsche P 133 on request .

The Porsche tractor had three PTO shafts as standard . A front PTO with 1000 rpm and a ground and a gear PTO with a normal profile at the rear. The PTO shafts could drive a Baas front loader or a mower , which customers could also order. The foot-operated inner shoe brake acted on the rear wheels. A lockable and independent handbrake , which acted as an external brake on the transmission , was also installed in the Porsche tractor. The total weight of the tractor was 2,650 kg with a rear axle load of 1850 kg, a front axle load of 800 kg and an empty weight of 1,700 kg. In the highest gear which amounted speed of the tractor forward 20 km / h and reverse 2.6 km / h. While the front axle was extendable and adjustable in height as a single-wheel-sprung swing axle , the rear axle was built in a rigid portal construction. Extra features of the Porsche P 133 included a clock , tachometer , roof , rear lights and an hour meter . In addition, a second fender seat on the right-hand side and slip-on pulleys for the front and rear could be ordered. Optionally, the wheelbase could also be extended by 14 cm.
