The Porsche Standard N 208 was a tractor from Porsche-Diesel Motorenbau GmbH , which was based in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance. The 18 kW standing, air-cooled engine of the Porsche Standard N 208 was characterized by its triple-bearing crankshaft as well as a Bosch injection system, compressed air lubrication and a remote thermometer. In addition, the approximately 1,625 kilogram Porsche tractor had a radial cooling fan and hanging valves . The speed of the oil pump of the standard N 208 was 1250 revolutions per minute, while the delivery rate was 14.2 liters per minute.
