The Ems transfer took place on March 12, 2006, and the ship arrived in Eemshaven on March 13, 2006 ; From there, test drives on the North Sea started until delivery . On April 3, 2006, the Pride of Hawaii came to dry dock in Hamburg for a few days to make improvements to the drive. It expired there on April 6, 2006. To check the pod drive, the Pride of Hawaii was in the dock of Lloyd Werft Bremerhaven from April 15 to 19, 2006 .

On April 19, 2006, the "Pride of Hawaii" was delivered by Meyer Werft to NCL Corporation Ltd., Miami / USA .
