Ralph C. Day (born November 24, 1889 in Toronto , Ontario , † May 21, 1976 ) was the 46th mayor of Toronto.

Ralph Day grew up in the Cabbagetown district of Toronto . At the age of 17 he joined the Canadian Army, as a member of which he fought in the First World War. He was a participant in the Battle of Arras in April 1917. Day began his political career in the 1930s with the election to the city council in 1934. Between 1938 and 1940 he was mayor of Toronto. Day was chairman of the Toronto Transit Commission from 1963 to 1972 . Ralph Day was married and had two daughters and a son.
