Arthur Radcliffe Boswell

Arthur Radcliffe Boswell (born January 3, 1838 in Cobourg , Ontario , † May 16, 1925 ) was a Canadian lawyer, politician and 24th mayor of Toronto.

Boswell studied law in Toronto and was admitted to the bar in 1865. He was president of the public library twice. In 1877 he was elected to the city council and in 1883 elected mayor. He held the office from January 1883 to January 1885. In 1911 he was appointed to the board of directors of an insurance company and to the legal clerk of a lending company.
