Thomas Langton Church (born 1870 in Toronto , Ontario ; † February 7, 1950 ) was a Canadian lawyer, politician and 37th mayor of Toronto.

Church was Mayor of Toronto from January 1915 to January 1922 and then switched to federal politics. During his tenure, he was occasionally ridiculed in the Toronto Star by Ernest Hemingway , who was a reporter for the newspaper at the time. In the 14th general election he was elected to the Canadian Parliament as a candidate for the Conservative Party of Canada . In the general election in 1930 , he was voted out though, could, however, in 1934 in a by-election claim as an MP.
