coat of arms

Blazon : Between two silver flanks with three blue balls , separated by two red bars , split by silver and black with two upright plow knives (Sech) in alternating colors , with the edges facing outwards . The community colors are red-white-black.

The municipal coat of arms, awarded in 1984, combines elements from the coats of arms of two noble families that are important for St. Georgen. The black and silver plow knives are the coat of arms of the Jörger , who had their ancestral seat here, founded the parish and are buried in the parish church. The blue spheres and red bars are taken from the coat of arms of the Revertera family , who owned Tollet Castle in the 19th and 20th centuries and who are also buried in the church of St. Georgen.
