The LigaPro 2015/16 was the 26th season of the second highest Portuguese football league . The season started on August 7, 2015 and ended on May 14, 2016.

The league was played with 24 teams. Two relegated from the Primeira Liga and three promoted from the Campeonato Nacional de Seniores were added.

At the end of the season, the table runner-up and the third-placed rose. FC Porto B was not eligible for promotion as champions. The league will be reduced to 22 clubs for the 2016/17 season. Therefore, five teams will be relegated in 2016.
