Coat of arms and banner

The coat of arms of Senden: "In silver a growing, stylized, green linden tree , covered with a diagonally placed, continuous, red, four-lipped tournament collar ."

The coat of arms and the banner (flag) were approved on October 3, 1966 and, after the municipal reorganization, confirmed on September 15, 1975.

The linden tree is a reminder that Senden is an old place of judgment; at the same time, the seal of a sender freelancer and geographer from 1652, which shows a tree, is used. The tournament collar is taken from the seal of the Herren von Senden, called Benekamp . Red and silver are their colors as well as the Droste family , who until 1957 sat on the Senden house for over 550 years .

Description of the flag (a banner is described): "White-red-white in a ratio of 1: 3: 1 striped lengthways with the municipal coat of arms in the upper half of the central strip."

Town twinning

In May 2010, a partnership between Senden and the Polish city of Koronowo was sealed, in 1990 with Jessen (Elster) .
