background information

In an interview that could be read on the Warner Music homepage, JUDGE described the collaboration with Robin Schulz as follows:

“When I first met Robin, I learned very quickly that he loves parties as much as I do. That is the best basis for a fruitful cooperation. It was always clear to me that this song could get huge in the right hands. What Robin made of it, however, is really amazing. I can't wait to go out there with it. Bring on the party! "

content

The lyrics to Show Me Love are in English; Translated into German, the title means "Show me love". The music and the text were written jointly by Richard Judge (JUDGE), the producer trio Junkx and Robin Schulz. Musically, the song moves in the realm of house and pop music . "Will you show me love as we get older,
and I'm falling at your feet.
After 30 years of service,
and one to fit our need.

Show me love as we grow colder,
let our love provide the heat.
And our older bones are missing,
but our hearts will never meet. "

- Refrain, original excerpt

“Will you love me when we get older,
when I fall at your feet.
After 30 years of service
and one to meet our needs.

Show me your love as we get colder,
let our love give the warmth.
And our older bones are missing,
but our hearts will never meet. "

- Refrain, translation

Music video

The music video for Show Me Love was filmed in Berlin at the beginning of November and premiered on November 13, 2015, on YouTube . You can see a man (played by Matthias Ludwig) falling from a treadmill . Shortly afterwards, a woman (played by Arijana Antunovic) rushes over to help him. When they look each other in the eye, it's like love at first sight. Various date scenes follow in which both are magically attracted by bad luck and something stupid happens to them each time. Among other things, they fall through the streets of Berlin, run into things, break objects, get hit by a car or even fall down stairs. Even during sex , books fall off the shelf and the two injure each other. But when the two are dancing in the apartment and some plaster falls from the ceiling on the woman's head, she becomes angry. He tries to save the situation by handing her a bicycle helmet , she doesn't think that's funny and a fight arises between the two, after which she throws him out of the apartment. After a month of radio silence , the two happened to meet again in a street café . As they both rise from their place, the weather suddenly turns into a violent thunderstorm . Objects are thrown around and people flee around them. Only the two stay and fight each other against the strong storm. When they have found each other, the storm subsides and the video ends with the two kissing. Robin Schulz can only be seen briefly towards the end of the video, as a guest in the street café. The total length of the video is 4:32 minutes. As in the previous music video for Sugar , the director was again Zak Stoltz. To date, the video has over 16 million views on YouTube (as of December 2018).
