List of number one hits in the German dance charts

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of number one hits in the German dance charts lists all singles who have reached the top of the official German dance charts in the respective week .

Database and information on the interpretation of the statistics listed

The German dance charts are compiled by the German market research company GfK Entertainment on behalf of the Federal Association of the Music Industry . They record sales of image or sound carriers , downloads and music streaming with dance as the end consumer. These are “ repertoire charts” that depict the “dance” market segment. They show an excerpt from the regular single top 100 , in which sales are recorded regardless of any repertoire segment. A parallel placement of a product in both the Single Top 100 and the Dance Top 20 is therefore not only possible in principle, but will be the rule for products that sell well.

The evaluations of the German danceharts presented here only describe performers who stayed at the top of the chart evaluation particularly often or for a particularly long time. However, no sales figures or further commercial success can be derived from this.
