The list of number one albums in the German Hip-Hop Charts lists all the albums that reached the top of the Official German Hip-Hop Charts in the respective week .

Database and information on the interpretation of the statistics listed

The German hip-hop charts are compiled by the German market research company GfK Entertainment on behalf of the Federal Music Industry Association . They record sales of image or sound carriers , downloads and music streaming with hip-hop as the end consumer. These are “ repertoire charts” that depict the “hip-hop” market segment. They show an excerpt from the regular album Top 100 , in which sales are recorded regardless of any repertoire segment. The German Hip-Hop Charts are not just repertoire charts, but also “artist charts”, which means that samplers are not taken into account. A parallel placement of a product both in the album Top 100 and in the Hip-Hop Top 20 is therefore not only possible in principle, but will be the rule for products that sell well.

The evaluations of the German hip-hop charts presented here only describe performers who stayed at the top of the chart evaluation particularly often or for a particularly long time. However, no sales figures or further commercial success can be derived from this.

The following lists contain all of the most successful audio and video media on the official German hip-hop charts since March 23, 2015 with information on the artists, the album title, the dates and the length of stay.

This list includes all artists in descending order of their number one albums who were able to place themselves at the top of the Hip-Hop Top 20 with at least three albums , as well as a detailed listing of all albums by artists with at least five number one successes in chronological order. If the number of albums is the same, the artists are listed alphabetically.
