from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 6th Ski Flying World Championship was held on February 27, 1981 on the Heini-Klopfer ski flying hill in Oberstdorf , Germany. This was the second ski flying world championship in Oberstdorf after 1973. Since the world championship took place on the day between the world cups in Chamonix and St. Nizier , a large part of the world elite did not take part in the world championship, including the later overall world cup runner -up Roger Ruud .

There was only a single competition with four rounds.
