Tadasuke Makino
Tadasuke Makino ( Japanese 牧野 任 祐 , Makino Tadasuke ; born June 28, 1997 in Osaka Prefecture ) is a Japanese racing car driver . He will start in the Super Formula in 2019 .
Career
Makino began his motorsport career in karting in 2004 , where he remained active until 2013. In 2015 he switched to formula racing and drove for Rn-sports in the Japanese Formula 4 championship . He won six races and was second overall behind Shou Tsuboi with 206 to 209 points . In 2016 Makino received a cockpit in the Japanese Formula 3 championship with Honda at Toda Racing . With four podium finishes, he finished the season on fifth place in the championship. He also finished fifth at the Macau Grand Prix with Toda Racing . In addition, Makino made his debut in GT racing in 2016 and took part in four Super GT races. In three races he drove for the Honda works team Drago Modulo and achieved a second place. The other race he contested for Cars Tokai Dream28 .
In 2017 Makino moved to the European Formula 3 championship with Honda support and started for HitechGP . His best result was a third place and he finished the championship in fifteenth place.
In 2018 Makino started for Russian Time in the FIA Formula 2 Championship . He won the main race in Monza and finished the season in 13th place. He left Formula 2 at the end of the season and switched to Japanese Super Formula.
