The 4th stage of the Tour de France 2018 took place on July 10, 2018. The flat stage led over 195 kilometers from La Baule to Sarzeau .

The stage winner in the sprint of the main field was Fernando Gaviria ( Quick-Step Floors ) ahead of Peter Sagan ( Bora-hansgrohe ) and André Greipel Lotto Soudal . Gaviria's team did a large part of the chase and caught up with the last runaway Guillaume Van Keirsbulck 800 meters from the finish . Van Keirsbulck was the first to attack when the race started. He was joined by Dimitri Claeys and Anthony Perez as well as Jérôme Cousin , who was awarded the red number . There were no changes in leadership in the overall ranking and in the special valuation categories. Axel Domont gave up the race.
