University of Southeastern Philippines
The University of Southeastern Philippines (USEP) is a state university in the Philippines and is considered a major educational institution in the Philippines and the Davao region and Caraga administrative region . In the second semester of 2011, 12,492 students enrolled at the university.
Locations
It has four locations in the following municipalities:
- the university's main campus is on Iñigo Street, Barangay Obrero, Davao City
- the USeP Mintal Campus is located in the Barangay Mintal, Davao City
- the USeP Tagum-Mabini campus has two smaller locations in Tagum City , Davao del Norte Province and Mabini , Davao de Oro Province
- the USeP Bislig campus is located in Bislig City , Surigao del Sur Province
Faculties
The university has five faculties , these are divided into higher education and technical school areas, as well as colleges for vocational training . These are the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Engineering, College of Technology, College of Education, School of Applied Economics, College of Governance and Business, Department of Development Studies, Institute of Computing and the University Evening Program, which offers evening school academic courses offers.
history
The university was founded in 1978 when the branches of Mindanao State University -Davao, the University of the Philippines -Master of Management Program in Davao City, the Davao School of Arts and Trades and the Davao National Regional Agricultural School were merged.
