The Bulacan State University , abbreviated BSU (also: BulSU ), is located in the province of Bulacan in the Philippines . It is considered a major tertiary educational institution in the Central Luzon administrative region . The university is divided into eight locations in the communities of Bulacan (Meneses Campus), Bustos (Bustos Campus), Hagonoy (Hagonoy Campus), Malolos City ( Main Campus ), Pulilan (Pulilan Campus), San Ildefonso (Motessori De San Ildefonso College) , San Jose del Monte City (Sarmiento Campus), and an overseas location, the International Campus , based in Yaumatei , Hong Kong . The university's headquarters are located on the main campus in Malolos City.

Faculties

There are 19 faculties , these are divided into higher education and technical schools, and in vocational training in colleges . These include the Graduate School, College of Law, College of Architecture and Fine Arts, College of Arts and Letters, College of Business Administration, College of Criminal Justice Education, College of Education, College of Engineering, College of Home Economics, College of Industrial Technology, College of Information and Communications Technology, College of Nursing, College of Physical Education, Recreation and Sport, College of Science, College of Social Sciences and Philosophy, Laboratory High School. In 2010, a total of 27,124 students enrolled at the educational institutions in the Philippines at Bulacan State University.

history

The history of the university began in 1904 when, in the wake of Act 74 of 1901, the Department of Education established the multi-level school. In 1909 this San Jose school was upgraded with the establishment of the Bulacan Trade School. The school was further upgraded after World War II in the 1950s with the establishment of the Bulacan National Trade School (1953), Bulacan National School of Arts and Trades (1957), and Bulacan School of Arts and Trades (1960). In 1965, these educational institutions were merged into the Bulacan College of Arts and Trades, which offered four-year courses for educational training in industrial training. In 1993, Republic Act 7665 converted the college into Bulacan State University.
