Urfey is a place in the city of Mechernich in the Euskirchen district .

The place is in the Eifel at the Urfeyer Bach, which together with the Kallmuther Bach forms the beginning of the Feybach . These waters were used as early as 80 AD to feed the Roman Eifel aqueduct to Cologne .
