Weißenbrunnen is a district of Mechernich in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Euskirchen . The place lies between the districts of Denrath and Roggendorf .

history

The white fountain

Weißenbrunnen emerged in the 19th century from an old rest area for carters , which still exists along with horse troughs, the so-called "white fountain". The fountain is a listed building. A ring kiln plant for bricks and clay pipes was shut down in the 1960s.
