Sightseeing and tourism
- Chapel in the former mission house
- Half-timbered chapel St. Margaretha
- The aqueduct bridge of Vussem is part of the Roman Eifel aqueduct , which was built in the 1st century AD to supply fresh water to Roman Cologne. During construction work for a sports field in the late 1950s, two Roman pillar foundations were carelessly destroyed. The Rhineland Regional Council took this as an opportunity to carry out a comprehensive archaeological excavation there in 1959 under the direction of Waldemar Haberey. The excavation results from 1959 formed the basis for a partial reconstruction of the facility, which is now open to tourists and can be viewed as part of the Römerkanal hiking trail at km 22.4 on the Römerweg.
The long-distance cycle paths lead through the village:
- Eifel-Höhen-Route , which runs as a circular route around and through the Eifel National Park .
- Valley route , it opens up interesting tourist places in North Rhine-Westphalia on a family-friendly route.
traffic
