The constituency 4 Peine is a constituency for the election of the Lower Saxony state parliament . It includes the city of Peine and the communities of Edemissen , Hohenhameln , Ilsede and Wendeburg , so it covers most of the Peine district .

The constituency was newly formed for the state election in Lower Saxony in 2008 . In the constituency division valid in 2003, the constituencies Peine and Peine-Land existed in Braunschweig.
