The former community is located about 5 km southwest of the old town of Salzwedel.

The districts of Eversdorf , Groß Wieblitz and Klein Wieblitz belonged to the municipality of Wieblitz-Eversdorf .

history

On July 1, 1950, the communities of Groß Wieblitz and Klein Wieblitz merged to form the community of Wieblitz . On August 1, 1972, the communities Wieblitz and Eversdorf merged to form Wieblitz-Eversdorf, which remained an independent community until December 31, 2010 . It was dissolved by law on January 1, 2011 as part of the municipal reorganization of Saxony-Anhalt and incorporated into Salzwedel.

290 inhabitants lived in the community (as of December 31, 2009). The municipal area extended over an area of ​​9.89 km². The community was a member community of the administrative community Salzwedel-Land . The community Wieblitz-Eversdorf comprised the districts of Eversdorf, Groß Wieblitz and Klein Wieblitz, which became districts of Salzwedel after the incorporation. A village Wieblitz-Eversdorf was not formed.
