The Stan James World Matchplay 2007 was a major tournament in darts and was organized by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). It was held from July 22nd to 28th, 2007 in the Winter Gardens in Blackpool .

The defending champion Phil Taylor lost this year with 11:17 in the semifinals against the Englishman Terry Jenkins , who in turn lost to his compatriot James Wade with 7:18 in the final . It was the first victory in a major tournament for Wade at the PDC.
