Yū Kobayashi ( Japanese 小林 悠 , Kobayashi Yū ; born September 23, 1987 in Aomori Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player who has been under contract with Kawasaki Frontale since 2010 .

Career

society

Yū Kobayashi learned to play football on the university team of Takushoku University . He was loaned to Mito Hollyhock from Takushoku University from July 2008 to January 2009 . For the club from Mito, he played five games in the second division, the J2 League, as a youth player . He signed his first professional contract with Kawasaki Frontale in 2010 . The club from Kawasaki , a city on the Japanese main island of Honshu in the northeast of Kanagawa Prefecture , played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2017 and 2018 he was with the club of Japanese football champions, in 2016 he was runner-up. In 2019 he won the Supercup and the J. League Cup with Kawasaki .

National team

Kobayashi played his first game for the Japanese national football team on October 10, 2014 in a 1-0 win over Jamaica. With the Japanese national team he qualified for the 2015 Asian Cup , in which they reached the second round.
