Water supply association for Northeast Württemberg
The water supply association Nordostwürttemberg (NOW) is a municipal association that supplies 100 cities and municipalities in the northeast of Baden-Württemberg with around 600,000 inhabitants with drinking water . The seat is in Crailsheim in the district of Schwäbisch Hall .

organization
The NOW is organized as a public law association ( corporation under public law ) according to the rules of the association law for Baden-Württemberg. The organs of the special purpose association are the association assembly, the administrative board , the association chairman and the management .
The association chairman and his two deputies are currently elected by the association assembly for a five-year term until January 28, 2024. The chairman of the association is Mayor Stefan Neumann ( Künzelsau ). The first deputy chairman of the association is Mayor Gerhard Häuser ( Schwaikheim ); the second deputy chairman of the association is Mayor Petra Weber ( Blaufelden ).
The management of NOW consists of a managing director who is appointed by the association assembly. His term of office is 8 years. The current managing director is Jochen Damm.
NOW employs over 100 people in the northeast of Baden-Württemberg.
Association area
The Zweckverband supplies communities and cities in the districts of Heilbronn , Hohenlohekreis , Main-Tauber-Kreis , Ostalbkreis , Rems-Murr-Kreis and in the district of Schwäbisch Hall with drinking water.
