RTL+ (formerly TVNOW) is a German video on demand streaming service belonging to RTL Deutschland, in turn part of the Bertelsmann-dominated RTL Group.
History
Its origins trace back to the launch of the 'RTLnow.de' portal in 2007.[1][2] In 2016, all the video portals corresponding to the different channels of the TV network merged into TVNOW.[3] From 4 November 2021 on, the new identity of RTL+ replaced that of TVNOW.[4] At the time, TVNOW was providing a three-layered service (Free, Premium and Premium Duo), having about 2 million paid subscription users, making around 3.4 million users together with Dutch RTL branch Videoland.[5][6]

RTL+ is a Hungarian general entertainment television channel, owned by RTL Group. It launched on May 1, 2014 as the successor of Prizma TV.
Its channel sound was József Kerekes as Poén!, then as Prizma, and from 2014 to 2016 was Anna Orosz. His current voice is Artúr Kálid. However, some recommendations are made with the voice of Sorozat+, Zsuzsa Ullmann.
The channel's advertising time is sold by R-Time.
History
On April 2 2008, it started broadcasting as Poén!. The channel was launched by IKO Kábeltévé Kft., and was legally under the supervision of the Romanian media authority. From December 20, 2010, it continued to operate under the name Prizma with a new look and even more content. Mainly from RTL Klub's archives, it featured mainly entertainment shows, and later appeared with new series. In July 2011, together with other 6 IKO channels, it became a property of RTL Group in Hungary. From January 2014, content not seen on Prizma was also screened, and at the end of February, it was announced that the channel would be renamed in the spring. It became clear in March that it would continue to operate under the name RTL+ from 1 May.
On March 1, 2016, the channel received a new, even more colorful image.
In 2019, it broadcasted E-sports events, starting everyday at 22:00, in its magazine E-mánia, co-produced with the online TV channel, Esport1.
From 2020, it broadcasts a programming block called Igazi Krimi on the channel, with purchased content and, among other things, the reality series Bűnös lelkek originally made for RTL Klub.
The channel launched a HD version in September 2021.
From the fall of 2021 until 2024, the channel will be the mediator of the UEFA Europa League and the brand new UEFA Europa Conference League. In the first year, after M4 Sport, which broadcasts the meetings of Ferencváros in the EL team group of 32 teams, RTL+ has the right to choose for the second time. (Between 2015 and 2018, the company acquired the more expensive number one package for RTL II, but the Hungarian club did not reach the 48-team field during this period.) It is an innovation in Hungary that some matches only on the paid streaming platform - RTL Most+ - are displayed.
