Please do not create empty or content-free articles. If this is a work in progress, please edit offline. Owen× 00:35, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop making test edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Wrestling. It is considered vandalism, which, under Wikipedia policy, can lead to blocking of editing privileges. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox.  Will (aka Wimt) 00:38, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

it was not a test edit! I was starting my own article and then as soon as I saved the first thing my article was gone and in its place there was this huge article with nothing to do with mine in its place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!my article was named Wrestling pay-per-veiws search for it and wrastling will come up instead of Wrestling pay-per-veiws!!!!!!!!!!--Altenhofen 00:49, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, don't worry about it - it was clearly an innocent mistake. I recommend you follow OwenX's advice below and take a look at the introduction to get more information about how to contribute to Wikipedia. Also you might like to try practising editing the sandbox. Good luck! Will (aka Wimt) 01:05, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I see that you have created this article Wrestling Pay-Per-View Events, but this article is unnecessary as each company has their own article about their Pay-Per-Views. Please do not create articles that are unnecessary and unsourced, if you have comments or question or concerns do not respond to my comment in your talk page but click "talk" on my signature and leave a new message.TrUcO9311 (talk) 21:11, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Wrestling. Your edits do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use Wikipedia:Sandbox for test edits. Thank you. Oxymoron83 00:38, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I just realised that your previous article was redirected to Wrestling which might be confusing you. Your original article can be found here. However, as OwenX said above, please try to create the article before introducing it to Wikipedia, rather than starting content-free articles. Will (aka Wimt) 00:42, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I do not Know how to create an article before putting it on wikipedia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I am very, very, very sorry for deleting that article!!!Ithought that it was just a Really BIG edit to my article!I am totally new to this and it was hard for me to find out how to make an article in the first place!!!that was the first thing i did since i created this account like half an hour ago!!!!!--Altenhofen 00:57, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. I recommend you start here and become more familiar with editing and what content is suitable. Owen× 00:59, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I deleted the page you created. As I said before, this is not a scratchpad for you to work on. All you had there was a single name. It seems you didn't even try to follow the link I gave you and learn how we do things here. By the way, take a look at Category:World Wrestling Entertainment pay-per-views--the list already exists as a category. Owen× 01:27, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reply to the message left on my talk page

I agree with above messages- I recommend you do not submit articles until they are at least reasonably complete. There is no point restoring it, it was practically empty, it would be quicker just to recreate it. As for how I am able to delete articles- I am an administrator, so I am able to do a lot of things that most users are not. J Milburn 03:01, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit to Royal Rumble (2008)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. TJ Spyke 00:16, 3 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I would suggest using WP:SANDBOX or using a test page, rather than using a normal article to try things. TJ Spyke 01:15, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wrestling Pay-Per-View Events

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Wrestling Pay-Per-View Events, because another editor is suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of the page. Davnel03 21:13, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The statement about not replacing it if it has been removed is to prevent an editor from repeatedly nominating a certain article for deletion. It does not apply in this case. None of the issues have been resolved, so the anonymous editor should not have removed the notice. This does not set a precendent by which anyone can now remove the notice without addressing the problems identified in the article. GaryColemanFan (talk) 23:01, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

1)I appreciate you wanting to improve pages. However, just because you spent a long time doing those changes doesn't mean they helped the page. They made the page an eyesore and hurt the article.

2)I was right. Yes we all knew it was likely gonna be at MSG, but there was no reliable source when you kept trying to put it in. Adding unsourced info (especially more than once) is against the rules. TJ Spyke 06:04, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. I don't want to get into details, but suffice it to say that even if I wanted to be an admin I would never be able to because of my past actions. Thank you anyways, I appreciate it. TJ Spyke 23:04, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not vandalize, but sockpuppets (none of which vandalized, all just to continue helping). I have been blocked too many times to ever become an admin, especially since part of the terms of my return was then I am on permanent 1RR (meaning I can only make 1 revert per 24 hours unless I am reverting vandalism or enforcing the consensus of WP:PW). You could become an admin eventually, it of coarse depends on your actions. I also suggest letting other people see you by participating in deletion discussions at WP:AFD (and/or WP:MFD) and similar pages since a lot of people who participate at WP:RFA also participate in these discussions. For more info, I would suggest contacting an admin (see WP:ADMIN) and asking them for advice on how they became an admin. TJ Spyke 01:19, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on This is the certificate for the ROCKBOX!, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Oore (talk) 04:56, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Can you delete this?

Done. In future, you can tag pages where you are the only contributor with {{db-author}} if you want them deleted. J Milburn (talk) 20:07, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image source problem with Image:Pepsi dog.png

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Pepsi dog.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 20:53, 27 April 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 20:53, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, Wikipedia's copyright policies can be confusing for newcomers, but we really cannot accept images that you have just found on Google- they're almost certainly copyright violations. J Milburn (talk) 20:57, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I wouldn't bother; the image isn't under a free license, so could only be used under a claim of fair use, and I can see no reason that a reasonable claim could be made. As I say, image policies are difficult, and I would avoid uploading images for the most part until you have got to grips with our guidelines and policies a little better. I see you're getting contacted by the bots... Try not to turn into one of those users with thirty odd bot messages on the talk page because they keep uploading poor images! J Milburn (talk) 21:55, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Images are under copyright until the original copyright holder (the person who took the photograph, in this case) explicitly says otherwise. Just another quick thing- don't add to your original message, create new messages, as I am doing now. New message in a different place, with a new signature and timestamp. J Milburn (talk) 22:00, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No, I'm afraid not. J Milburn (talk) 22:30, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No, Wikipedia cannot accept these images. You could possibly try and take a similar picture yourself? Alternatively, Commons already has a category of lolcats, you can just use them. J Milburn (talk) 22:39, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Altenhofen!
We thank you for uploading Image:Alternate wrestlemania Logo.PNG, but there is a problem. Your image is currently missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Unless you can help by adding a copyright tag, it may be deleted by an Administrator. If you know this information, then we urge you to add a copyright tag to the image description page. We apologize for this, but all images must confirm to policy on Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks so much for your cooperation.

Image copyright problem with Image:The Altenhofen Tower and The Volcano.PNG

Thanks for uploading Image:The Altenhofen Tower and The Volcano.PNG. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 02:08, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I cheated to find it :P. I used the automatically generated list of your subpages o track it down. Sorry. Anyway, the box has a very complex code: <div style="position: fixed; right:0; bottom:0; display:block; height:{{{1|77}}}px; width:{{{1|360}}}px;;-moz-opacity:.80;opacity:.80"> <div style="position: relative; width: {{{1|400}}}px; height: {{{1|175}}}px; overflow: hidden"> <div style="position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px; z-index: 2"> {| id="toc" style="margin: 0 2em 0 2em;" ! align="left" style="background:gold" width="100%" | Welcome to my talk page!<br /> Please sign your post with the four tildes, like this: <nowiki>~~~~.
Remember: New topics go at the bottom! |}

To use it, copy that code, and paste it somewhere on your talk page. Then you'll have the box. I myself don't understand the code; I just copied it for someone else as well. So, if you want to change the colors, you'll have to use the help desk. Cheers, -The Hybrid- 22:11, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Friend"

First of all, I could care less if you are my friend or not. I am as friendly to you as I am to anyone else. Secondly, both of those images contained copyrighted images of WWE, which prohibits you from releasing them into the public domain. And thirdly, personal attacks are not welcome here and will not be tolerated. If you continue, you can and will be blocked from editing. Thank you, –LAX 03:03, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"If you do not bring at least bring the canada DX picture back, i will report you and make sure you get your admin powers stripped from you." sounds like a personal attack to me. Anyway, it doesn't matter if you made it yourself in paint or not. The image contained the DX logo, which is copyright of WWE; meaning you cannot release it into the public domain. You do not own the logo, so you do not have that right. –LAX 03:13, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I never said it contained a logo. It does, however, contain an image of Orton that is copyright of WWE; again, meaning you do not have the right to release it into the public domain. –LAX 22:19, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It contains a promotional image of Randy Orton (I'm guessing it's this one). And since you did not take the photo yourself, (like I've been saying) you do not have the right to release it into the public domain. –LAX 22:26, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:Living people who have a pretend brother that claims to be imortal, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:Living people who have a pretend brother that claims to be imortal has been empty for at least four days, and its only content has been links to parent categories. (CSD C1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:Living people who have a pretend brother that claims to be imortal, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. The next time you make a personal attack, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. King iMatthew 2008 22:15, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

He deleted your images because they contained copyrighted images, If the picture was taken by somebody other than yourself, or another user, generally, you may not use it on your userpage. Also, your comment was a personal attack, because by telling somebody they should be stripped of their admin rights, is saying they are doing something wrong/bad. LAX has done nothing wrong in this case, and there is no reason for him to have his admin rights taken away. King iMatthew 2008 22:22, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As an uninvolved editor who has not seen the comments in question, you may ask me any questions that you may have about copyrighted images. Cheers, -The Hybrid- 22:26, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not attack other editors. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. –LAX 21:46, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just to let you know, I have explain Matt and I's POV on the situation to The Hybrid. –LAX 22:20, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

First, the finger is not a personal attack; it is an example of sarcasm, and Stephen Colbert-like ironic humor in reference to Template:Smile. Number two, I told you that if you had any questions about non-free images, I would answer them for you as an uninvolved party. Now, you have 24 hours to take me up on my offer before I do my own research and take sides. I suggest that you either upload the images to a free sharing website and give me a link, or you email me the pictures for me to look at. I will be sending you an email so you will have my address. I may not get to the email until tomorrow, as I am busy on Mondays, and I have an adoptee that I have responsibilities to. In the mean time, do not under any circumstance speak with LAX or iMatthew. LAX, Matt, I ask you to stay away from him until I can sort this out. I will play both the role of mediator and teacher. Altenhofen, if you'd like, I will WP:ADOPT you like I did User:The SRS. This way you can feel comfortable coming to me as soon as a problem begins, rather than waiting until you've already received a level three warning. Cheers, -The Hybrid- 00:28, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I sounded aggressive because I was. I offered to help you of my own volition when the problem first began, but I was ignored. However, when you took yourself to the brink of being blocked, you wanted me to bail you out. However, I will still help you.

What this looks like to me is what I call "new user syndrome." This is what happens in "Wikipedian adolescence," the period where a user is first coming into contact with all of the rules and regulations that users are expected to follow. During this period, new users often feel that the admins and experienced users are mistreating them. However, they are just enforcing the rules that everyone is expected to follow. I've looked at your talk page; you've actually been cut a lot of slack. If I had pulled this stuff I would have been banned by the community due to my familiarity with the rules, but actively disregarding them. I assure you, I was once in your shoes. I wrote a whole essay about why admins and users with over 10,000 edits are evil. You are not being bullied; you are simply being held to the same standard of everyone else.

However, the reason you feel you are being mistreated is because you haven't had exactly why what you are doing is wrong explained to you. The reason for this is that you have never asked. I offered before, and I am offering now to answer your questions, but if you don't take the initiative to ask me, then I am of no use to you. I have looked over the images.

The cat and dog pictures are obviously professionally done, meaning until proof is given otherwise they are to be treated as copyrighted and/or intellectual property. Therefore, if the fair use criteria are not met, they cannot be kept on Wikipedia. This is because Wikipedia could be sued if the images are allowed to stay, and given away without the creator's consent. The fact the Wikipedia is non-profit is entirely irrelevant. Next, the WWE copyrights all images of its wrestlers by filing paperwork with the government and having a copyright granted. Because the wrestlers are under contract with the WWE, and they were being paid at the time of the photography, all rights to the images are given to the WWE, and no rights are given to the wrestlers as is stated in the wrestler's contracts. Therefore, any promotional image taken by the WWE cannot be redistributed in any form without the expressed consent of the WWE. As a result, any image containing promotional photography taken by the WWE cannot be kept in the public domain without the expressed consent of the WWE. Therefore, the Randy Orton image cannot be kept on Wikipedia. Next, the green DX logo is a logo copyrighted by the WWE, and as a result cannot be redistributed, even in imitation form, without the expressed consent of the WWE. it is just like imitating a Subway logo; self-made or not, it is still illegal.

Now, do you have any further questions about copyrights? Are you ready to make another wise decision, and ask me about the other problems you are facing right now so that you may understand what exactly the problems are, and how you can avoid them in the future? Are you ready to take advantage of an offer that I and so many other users wish they had been given when they first joined? Cheers, -The Hybrid- 04:44, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, your userpage was deleted because it made you potentially vulnerable to child predators. It had to be deleted for your safety, and for Wikipedia's sake, lest a child be tracked down in real life, and Wikipedia be blamed for it. Cheers, -The Hybrid- 04:53, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Did you ever notice the above messages? -The Hybrid- 03:38, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RE:don't do that

Actually per WP:OWN, your userpage and all of its content belongs to the community (en.wikipedia) and as such should conform to Wikipedia's policies and should not serve the purpose of disrupting the project. I removed the content from your page because it went against WP:BEANS and was simply there to make a point. Saying "I have been threatened to be blocked, but never have" is like saying "haha..I get away with shit, and only someone with balls will block me". If you are simply wanting to state that you have never been blocked, there is really no need as anyone can check you block log. I will not be removing the content again as I strictly fallow a 1RR rule, but I do ask that you rephrase the statement. Cheers, Tiptoety talk 22:29, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your userpage

I've removed your userpage in line with our best practices regarding childrens' privacy. Please be careful in the future to not reveal personal information about yourself, such as your real name, birthday, school, address, AIM or phone number. People on the internet are not always who they say they are, and you may be exposing yourself to danger by doing so.

Another piece of free advice: please contribute to articles more. east.718 at 01:06, May 20, 2008

Recreating something I deleted for your own privacy probably wasn't the brightest way to play this. Now you won't ever have a userpage. east.718 at 01:19, May 20, 2008
You know what? You can download a copy of MediaWiki, for free, and use it on your own machine! You can even get some cheap hosting and make it available for the whole world to see it if you want! Call it "WikiAltenhofen" or something. DS (talk) 01:33, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Two things:

  1. Please read WP:NOT#MYSPACE. This is an encyclopedia, not a place to goof off.
  2. Please stop spamming adminsitrators asking to restore your userpage. It was plainly inappropriate, and will not stand.

If you persist in being disruptive over this issue, you can be blocked. --Jayron32.talk.contribs 01:46, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of User:Altenhofen/The Crew

A tag has been placed on User:Altenhofen/The Crew, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:User:Altenhofen/The Crew|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. King iMatthew 2008 01:52, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Listen

Your userpage said (among other things):

"My teacher Amy tells me I behave 3 times better than a normal kid with aspergers, meaning I conquered it. If I had not I would probably have 1000 blocks on my block log, but I have 0, that is because I handle problems very, very well for a kid with aspergers."

Please, consider what Amy would think of your behavior here. We don't want you to be upset. Really, we don't.

If you're intent on becoming an administrator, you have to be able to accept that you won't always get your way. DS (talk) 01:53, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

So...

What are your thoughts on the other situations? I notice you still have the notice about wanting your page back on the top of your talk page. Now, you need to understand a few things. Number one, spamming everyone in sight when you have a problem is unacceptable, and, frankly, I'm surprised you didn't end up blocked for it. I know I saved you at least once from a block, and it looks like a couple of other people had to step in to prevent it as well. That won't happen again. Two, you need to ask people questions, legitimate questions, when you have a problem, and accept the answer they give you. If you need them to be more specific, that's fine, but just because you don't like the answer doesn't mean it isn't correct. You need to learn to accept facts that don't fit with your personal views, as they are still facts. Number three, you are on the thinnest of thin ice. If you step out of line again, no one can help you. The spamming spree was the final straw. I understand that you have Asberger Syndrome, but on Wikipedia that doesn't work as a cure-all to keep you from suffering the consequences of your actions. We have admins with Asberger's; it is possible to follow the rules with it. Now, I'm offering one last time to adopt you. Do not ignore this offer this time; give me a yes or no answer. I can help you go about creating an acceptable userpage. I can help you to understand the rules better than anyone else can, as I am committing to put all other work aside whenever you have a question, and spend as much time with you as is necessary for you to understand what is being discussed. I am offering to be your personal mentor, and I am offering to be your friend. This is the single greatest chance you have of avoiding a block in the future, which at this point is inevitable. -The Hybrid- 01:03, 23 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, that's your decision. That disappoints me, but so be it. If you ever change your mind, I'll always be here. I'm also available whenever you have a question. Cheers, -The Hybrid- 01:10, 23 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to leave you with these words of wisdom:

Every time you click "save this page," be completely convinced that what you are saving will make Wikipedia a better, more friendly, and more successful project, and if what you’ve typed won’t do that, don’t click save. Essjay

Always keep that in mind. Cheers, -The Hybrid- 05:21, 23 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I just did a recent contributions check on you; only one mainspace edit. You do not need a fancy signature until you start contributing to the article namespace more frequently. -The Hybrid- 00:13, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That was a no; you need to stop using Wikipedia as a Myspace. Until then, to help you make things fancy would be enabling you to abuse Wikipedia. In fact, I'm tempted to go ahead and have you blocked. -The Hybrid- 05:19, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And I do appreciate the civility award, but at the same time, I have to do my job as a Wikipedian. You need to focus more on the mainspace. -The Hybrid- 05:21, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, you're using Wikipedia as Myspace. This is not allowed. The reason I won't help you use a fancy signature is because you are abusing the website. You can demonstrate that you are not abusing it by focusing on the most important part of Wikipedia, the mainspace. Signatures, while fun, are meant to serve a purpose. However, if you aren't serving a purpose, then why should you be allowed anything but the default signature? It serves the purpose just fine. When you stop abusing the website, then you can spread your wings and have fun. BTW, if you don't shape up soon, I will ask to have you blocked. -The Hybrid- 00:34, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Now that you have your page back

Make sure you put more of a focus onto namespace, and stay away from userspace as much as possible. iMatthew T.C. 01:17, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm, I see what you mean. It is actually a Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby theme. Someone stole my gold theme, so I decided that I would switch. I tried a Silver/Platinum theme in my sandbox, but it just didn't look good, so I decided I'd switch to a gem theme. Yes, I know it is also the names of a Pokemon series of video games :P. That's how I chose those particular gems. Cheers, The Hybrid 01:31, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know how to fix it. Anyway, I parrot iMatthew. I'm not going to let this go; you must stop worrying about your userspace and signature. Consider this a level three warning. The Hybrid 03:56, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vandal patrol

Ah, good, you're vandalism patrolling. At WP:WARN, you can find a list of pre-made vandalism warnings. For a first-time offense, use a level 1 warning, and go up one each time. Pretty self-explanatory. After they have exceeded the level four warning, file a report at WP:AIV. To file it, just follow the directions on that page. If you have any questions about vandalism, you can always ask me. Cheers, The Hybrid 03:53, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Taker and Ric Hugging.PNG)

Thanks for uploading Image:Taker and Ric Hugging.PNG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:25, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As I'm sure you noticed above, this is the 20th edition of the WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter! It has come a long way since the first issue, and I'm sure it will only improve from here. I'd like to thank everyone reading this for continuing to read the newsletter, biweekly.

I'd like to especially thank those who have helped to get the newsletter to it's 20th edition; The Hybrid, The Chronic, TJ Spyke, Alex Roggio, LAX, ThinkBlue, Nikki311, GaryColemanFan, Gavyn Sykes, D.M.N., Naha, NiciVampireHeart, SRX, Zenlax and, RkOrton.

Also, lastly I'd like to thank Misza13, for sending the newsletter out for us, though his bot. His bot has to be the most important part of the process, because without it, the newsletter would not get sent to project members.

I know that's a long list, but they all deserve recognition for their hard work towards the newsletter. So again, thank you to that list of people, and thank you to all of the newsletter's biweekly readers. If you have an questions, comments, or feedback about the newsletter, remember those links below.

  • Our goal is to get the number of Stub-Class articles below 600. The current count is 625. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could help expand and/or source an article or two. A list has been placed on the stub article subpage of stub articles of well-known wrestlers that should be fairly easy to improve.

I updated your User:Altenhofen/Signature page with a different code for the same signature. It should fit inside the box. Try it out. --UnquestionableTruth-- 22:36, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Really it doesn't fit for you? That's very strange. When I put it on my sig box it fits in perfectly. --UnquestionableTruth-- 22:43, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
