The Austrian championship was decided in 1934 in a game between the provincial and Viennese champions. The Klagenfurt AC competed against EK Engelmann Vienna in Klagenfurt . The KAC won the game 2-1, becoming the first champion in Austrian ice hockey history to not come from Vienna. The gates for the KAC scored Reinhold Egger in the first and Hans Stertin in the third period, the only goal for the EKE scored Fabinger .
