2. Basketball Bundesliga 1992/93

The 1991/1992 season was the eighteenth season of the 2nd Bundesliga .

mode

After the integration of the GDR gaming operations, two seasons with twelve teams each were played again. After a single round, the first six teams played a promotion round, the champions of which were promoted to the basketball league. The other teams played the relegated teams in a relegation round. Since the regional leagues south-west and center were merged, there were only two regular relegated teams in the south season, as in the north season.
