The season 1951/52 the Amateur Oberliga Niedersachsen was the third season of highest Lower Saxony amateur league in football . At that time it took the second highest level in the German league system. A master was not played out. VfB Oldenburg and VfL Wolfsburg qualified for the promotion round to the Oberliga Nord , although neither team could prevail. From the Oberliga Nord, Eintracht Braunschweig rose to the Amateur Oberliga Niedersachsen.

The relegation places in the west were taken by BV Cloppenburg , VfL Germania Leer , SpVgg Rotenburg , Schinkel 04 and TSV Verden . In the east, Rot-Weiß Braunschweig , FC Grone , Hannoversche SC , Helmstedter SV , Lehrter SV , VfR Osterode 08 and VfL Seesen had to relegate. For that rose from the amateur league Lower the TSV Gnarrenburg , the SC Nordenham and Sparta Nordhorn in the group as well as the West FT Braunschweig , Borussia Hildesheim and SV Limmer in 1910 in the group Ost. The FSV Peine changed its name to VfB Peine .
