As Autobahn 10 (Bern) or Autostrasse K10 (Lucerne), two sections of autobahns and motorways are designated as an increased standard for upgrading to Hauptstrasse 10 in the cantons of Bern and Lucerne :
- Motorway feeder from the A6 , Muri junction : runs from the A6 for approx. 1 km to Rüfenacht to Hauptstrasse 10. It is a national road, the internal name of this section is N6M .
- As Lucerne canton road K10 between Werthenstein and Littau .
The section between Ins and Zihlbrücke was previously known as the T10 , today it is part of Autostrasse 20 .
