The main road 11 is a main road in Switzerland .

This road leads from Vionnaz near Aigle in the canton of Valais and Vaud to Wassen in the canton of Uri and the area it traverses has a predominantly mountainous character.

The road begins in Vionnaz in the canton of Valais on the main road 21 coming from Saint-Gingolph . It leads via Aigle to Col des Mosses ( 1445  m above sea level ) to Château-d'Oex and into the Bernese Oberland to Zweisimmen . It then leads, together with Hauptstrasse 6 , south of Lake Thun and north of Lake Brienz to Meiringen . From Innertkirchen the road leads over the Sustenpass to an altitude of 2224  m above sea level. M. to Wassen in the canton of Uri , where it joins Gotthardstrasse, Hauptstrasse 2 .

With the exception of a short four-lane section near Aigle, the total length of this through road, which is largely non-directional, is around 201 kilometers.
