Baakdeel-Rantum / Sylt is a nature reserve in the Schleswig-Holstein municipality of Sylt in the district of North Friesland .

The approximately 242  hectare nature reserve is registered under number 98 in the directory of nature reserves of the Ministry for Energy Transition, Agriculture, Environment, Nature and Digitization . It was expelled in 1979 (date of regulation: March 5, 1979). The nature reserve is also part of the FFH area "Dune Landscape South Sylt" and the EU bird sanctuary "Ramsar area Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea and adjacent coastal areas". In the south it borders on the nature reserve “ Rantumer Dünen / Sylt ” and the nature reserve “ North Frisian Wadden Sea ”, which extends to the east . In the north is the nature reserve " Rantumbecken " east of the nature reserve. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of North Friesland.

The nature reserve extends along the west coast of the island of Sylt north and south of Rantum and places the dune landscape in this area under protection. South of Rantum, the nature reserve extends to the salt marshes on the east side of the island.

The nature reserve is looked after by the Söl'ring Foriining-Sylter Verein .
