history

The first written mention of Parsdorf comes from the year 1383 and arose in connection with a hoof ownership of the Freiberg Bailiwick .

In 1399 the village belonged to the estates of Wok (IV.) Von Krawarn auf Titschein and Fulnek , who prescribed his wife Eliška von Sternberg a morning gift of 43 Groschen marks annually on Bartošovice and Žilina . Since 1411 the village is documented among the estates of Stralenberg Castle; when Latzek (I.) von Krawarn auf Helfenstein freed his Stralenberg subjects from reversion that year , Bartoschowicz is listed among the 16 villages belonging to the castle. In 1437 the executors of Johann (VI.) Von Krawarn sold Parsdorf and Hausdorf to Drslav von Ochab, who made Parsdorf an independent rulership whose seat was the local fortress.

In 1522 Sigismund Sedlnitzky von Choltitz acquired the rule. Under his son Wenzel, the fortress was converted into a castle. After the death of Albrecht Sedlnitzky in 1616 his widow Anna von Podstatský-Prusinowitz inherited . In 1721 Johann Jacob Podstatský-Prusinowitz became the owner of the estate. The canon of Olomouc Cardinal Wolfgang von Schrattenbach had the baroque rectory built in 1737. He died in 1766 and Partschendorf was sold two years later to Marie Brigitte von Taaffe, who married her brother-in-law Josef Emanuel Canal de Malabail after the death of her husband. In 1771 Josephina Canal de Malabail was born in Partschendorf, who became a grande dame of European salons. Josephine Canal had married Count Johann Nepomuk Pachta von Rájov at a young age and was worshiped by Ignác Cornova , who tried to win the Pachta with the support of old Casanova . With Joseph Georg Meinert , Josephine Pachta had two illegitimate children - Fanny and Hugo.

When Josephine von Pachta died in 1833, her son Hugo Partschendorf inherited. Your partner had a small mausoleum built on the church. After the tragic death of Hugo Meinert and his two daughters, Partschendorf was sold to Emmy Fatton. It was acquired from her by the adjutant of Archduke Albrecht, Josef Maria Aressino, under whom between 1869 and 1877 the palace was rebuilt in the Italian Neo-Renaissance style . In 1938 the National Socialists expropriated the next owner of the castle, Artur Czeczowiczka, who had fled to England because of his Jewish origins. In 1948 the Czeczowiczka family received compensation for the property from Czechoslovakia.

After the Munich Agreement , the place was added to the German Reich and belonged to the Neu Titschein district until 1945 .
