The village is located in Záhorská nížina in the traditional Záhorie region . To the north of the municipality is the Myjava River . The Záhorie nature reserve surrounds the municipality on three sides. The closest towns are Šaštín-Stráže (5 km) and Senica (19 km).

In terms of transport, it is located on road II / 590, which connects the municipality with the town of Malacky ; north of the Myjava bridge is the road II / 500, a connection between Kúty and Senica (and further to the Czech border).
