Plavecký Peter (until 1960 "Plavecký Svätý Peter"; German Blasenstein St. Petersburg , Hungarian Detrekőszentpéter ) is a municipality in the west of Slovakia with 641 inhabitants (December 31, 2019) and is part of the Senica District , part of the kraj Trnavský .
geography
The municipality is located partly in the Záhorská nížina lowland , partly in the Little Carpathians , not far from the Záhorie military area in the Záhorie region . The town center lies at an altitude of 226 m nm and is 26 kilometers from Senica and 29 kilometers from Malacky .
history
The place itself was mentioned in writing for the first time in 1394 and until the years 1496–1550 belonged to the dominion of the castle bladder stone . In 1828 there are 105 houses and 770 residents mainly employed in agriculture.
