The Highway 11 is the extension of Washington State Route 9 . The highway begins on the border between the United States and Canada . The border towns are Sumas in Washington State and Huntingdon in British Columbia, Canada . The highway is seventeen kilometers long and ends on Highway 7 in Mission .
The highway is between the state border and Abbotsford , as a so-called core route , part of the Canadian National Highway System .

The highway begins at the border station in Huntingdon. Washington State Route 9 runs south towards Seattle . The highway first forms the main road through Huntingdon, it runs north. He then roams an Abbotsford industrial estate . The highway has two lanes to the south of the industrial park, and four lanes to the north of it. About 3 km after the start of the highway, the intersection with Highway 1 takes place . Highway 11 continues largely north. The highway touches Matsqui commune and then crosses the Fraser River with the Mission Bridge . About 1 km after the bridge, the highway joins Highway 7 in Mission.
